Why the photo matters most
Your photo is the only source for your face, your hair and, unless you write otherwise, your outfit. The sharper and clearer it is, the more recognizable you are in the clip. In the freestyle the lead is half-turned most of the time, so the model needs a good look at your face to keep it right from every angle.
Light
Light decides how much detail the model sees:
- Soft daylight from a window, facing you
- Even light without hard shadows across the face
- No backlight: don’t stand in front of a bright window
- No flash in a dark room
Angle and framing
Frame it like the lead in the clip:
- Face the camera, head straight
- From the waist up, so your outfit shows
- Eyes, jawline and hairline visible: no sunglasses, masks or hands in front
- One person only
Size and file
The technical side:
- JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 8 MB
- Around 800 to 2,000 pixels on the long side
- The original photo, not a screenshot or a compressed chat copy
- No beauty filters or heavy edits

Can I use a selfie?
Yes, if it is sharp and front-facing. A photo from the waist up is even better, because the model also sees your outfit.
Can I wear sunglasses in the photo?
Better not: the check needs to see your eyes. If you want sunglasses in the clip, add them in the extra direction.
Can I use a group photo?
Crop it to one person first. Photos with several faces are refused.
Are my photos stored?
Only for your render. They are removed from temporary storage after processing and never used to train models.
